Jamshedpur, Dec 6: East Singhbhum district administration has set up 1885 polling booths across six Assembly constituencies for the second phase polls. These include 129 model booths and 25 all-women booths which have been decorated to attract voters.
For the first time, the district administration is going to use Booth App during Assembly elections. The App will be used in Jamshedpur East and Jamshedpur West constituencies. With its help, voters will be able to get information about the queue of voters at their respective polling booths so as to plan their voting time.
East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner cum District Returning Officer Ravi Shankar Shukla appealed to all voters of the twin constituencies to use Booth App to get hassle-free voting experience. He said the App has been downloaded in the mobile phones of all booth level officers.
