‘Ek Pedh Ma ke Naam’ tree plantation drive by BJP Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 28: BJP workers will conduct a door-to-door voter list revision campaign to reach every voter ahead of the State Assembly elections. During this campaign BJP workers will assist in adding the names of young and new voters at each booth to the voter list. They will also ensure the removal of deceased voters’ names from the list. Workers will be trained at the booths for this purpose. On Thursday, at the District Office in Sakchi, a meeting of BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar Zila Padhadhikari and Morcha Ziladhyaksh was held under the Chairmanship of District President Sudhanshu Ojha. The meeting outlined the success plans for the upcoming programs such as ‘Ek Pedh Ma ke Naam,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ and making water sources plastic free. BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar has released a helpline number 7004650457, with Anjan Sarkar as the point of contact to assist in getting the names added to the voter list.

Addressing the meeting Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Sudhanshu Ojha stated that meetings would be organized in various divisions to train workers to add new and omitted voters’ names to the voter list. He said that the ‘Ek Pedh Ma ke Naam’ campaign was an inspirational initiative by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Workers will plant trees at their respective booths to honor motherhood and promote environmental conservation. They will plant trees with their mothers and in their memory in case they were deceased, respectfully placing the photos during the planting.

On Sunday, June 30 the ‘Mann ki Baat’ program by Prime Minister Modi will be hosted at the booths and a campaign to make the water sources plastic free will be conducted. For the ‘Ek Pedh Ma ke Naam’ campaign, District BJP has appointed district Vice- President Babua Singh as the coordinator, with Pradeep Besra and Subodh Jha as co-coordinators. District council President Bari Murmu, Sanjeev Sinha, Babua Singh, Rakesh Singh, Jitendra Rai, Manoj Ram, Pappu Singh, Manjit Singh, Gyan Prakash, Binod Singh, Mani Mohanty, Beenanand Sirka, Ajit Kalindi and others attended the meeting.
