Bihar Association Jamshedpur organizes blood donation camp in memory of founder, collects 120 units

Jamshedpur, June 30: Continuing its annual tradition, the Bihar Association organized a blood donation camp to commemorate the fifteenth death anniversary of one of its founders, Late Kedarnath Singh Sharma. The event took place in the courtyard of Rajendra Vidyalaya and was a tribute to Sharma’s lasting legacy.

Dr. Vijaya Bharat, a senior cardiologist, was the chief guest of the event. She was warmly welcomed by Dr. S.K. Singh, Vice President of the Bihar Association, and C.P.N. Singh, the General Secretary. The Education Secretary of the school, Amresh Sinha, Acting Principal Pyali Mukherjee, Principal of Rajendra Vidyalaya Ghutia branch Khushboo Thakur, Acting Principal of the Engineering College Pratyancha Prasad, Senior Incharge Kiran Sinha, Junior Incharge D. Vani, and all the teachers also paid homage to Late Kedarnath Singh Sharma by offering flowers at his statue.

The blood donation camp began at 8:30 am and continued until 3:00 pm. The event saw enthusiastic participation from former students, teachers, and parents, who came forward to donate blood. In a significant display of community service, the Bihar Association successfully collected 120 units of blood, thereby fulfilling its duty towards society.
