Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s (JMM) membership induction ceremony took place on Thursday at the Haludbani Subhash Chandra Milan Sangh in Parsudih. The event was graced by Party General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya and MLA Mangal Kalindi as chief guests, witnessing a significant influx of new female members into the party. The guests warmly welcomed all those joining the JMM during the ceremony.
Addressing the media, Supriyo Bhattacharya expressed confidence in the schemes introduced by the Hemant government, emphasizing the tangible benefits experienced by the people. He highlighted the government’s efforts in enhancing women’s safety, including the effective crackdown on trafficking, particularly in Gumla, Simdega, and Lohardaga. Bhattacharya acknowledged that while they do not claim 100 percent success, data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) indicates an improvement in the state’s situation compared to the rest of the country.
In a noteworthy statement, Bhattacharya declared that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is a tool of democracy, asserting that no one is afraid of it.
