Ranchi: n a significant development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched multiple raids in the early hours of Wednesday across various locations in Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Rajasthan. The targeted places included the residences of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s media advisor, Abhishek Prasad Pintu, Sahibganj Deputy Commissioner Ramniwas Yadav, Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Jail Jamadar Awadhesh Kumar, DSP Rajendra Dubey, and Sahibganj’s Khodniya Brothers, among others.
The ED’s actions are reportedly part of an ongoing investigation into an illegal mining case. The raids are being closely watched, especially in the midst of the existing political turmoil in Jharkhand.
Locations Under Scrutiny:
The ED officials are currently conducting raids at more than 10 locations spread across Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Rajasthan. The residence of CM Hemant Soren’s press advisor, Abhishek Prasad Pintu, situated in Shivpuri on Ratu Road, is one of the focal points of the operation. Strict security measures have been implemented, with a ban on entry and exit from the premises.
In Sahibganj, Rajasthan, the residence of Deputy Commissioner Ramniwas Yadav is also under scrutiny. Additionally, architects Vinod and Roshan, reportedly close associates of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, are facing raids at their residences and other locations. The Khodniya Brothers’ hideouts in Sahibganj are also subject to ED investigation.
