EC to launch voter�s awareness campaign in low turnout areas

Ranchi, March 11: The Election Commission has instructed to launch special voter�s awareness campaign in areas where the voting percentage had been low in the past. The Commission�s effort was that all the voters exercised their right to vote.

As per the Commission�s instruction, in view of the ensuing Lok Sabha General Election, awareness campaign has been launched in the state. Under the campaign nukkad natak, folk dances, rallies, human chain had been organised in different districts with an aim to make people conscious of their right to vote.

In the campaign voters were being told that voting was crucial to strengthen democracy. The voters were being told to exercise their right without fear.
