East Singhbhum Dist Congress condole death of Ahmad Patel

Jamshedpur, Nov 26: The East Singhbhum district Congress committee today condoled the death of veteran party leader Ahmad Patel at a meeting held at Bistupur Tilak Pustakalay on Wednesday. The Congress flag was flown on half mast in respect to the memory of the departed Congress leader. Members offered floral tributes before the portrait of Ahmad Patel and observed a minute’s silence in memory of th departed soul.

Jharkhand Minister Banna Gupta offered floral tribute and observed on the occasion, “Ahmad Patel’s demise is an irreparable loss to the Congress.”

District Congress president Vijay Khan while describing Patel’s death as a mighty blow to the party prayed that the late leader’s family gets the fortitude to bear the loss. He said that the entire Congress stood by the family.

Others present included Reyazuddin Khan, Brajendra Tiwary, Sanjay Singh Azad, Manoj Jha, Devsharan Singh, Sailesh Pandey, Prince Singh, Sanjay Tiwary, Ranjit Jha, Abhijit Singh, Rahul Goswami and others.

If such crowds like the one spotted in Sakchi Market on Wednesday persist then it would be near impossible to prevent another wave of coronavirus infection setting in on a city that is showing an uptrend in the viral recovery rate.
