Jamshedpur, July 9: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla convened a review meeting of welfare and education departments at Jamshedpur Collectorate auditorium on Tuesday. He reviewed progress of all important projects of both departments and issued instructions to the authorities concerned to achieve their targets within the prescribed timeframe.
The DC directed the LDM to send the NPCI mapping data of 40,000 students, deprived of various scholarship schemes, within a week. He said scholarships should be provided to students by 15th July and it should be ensured that the withdrawal is not zero.
Shukla directed officials concerned to make sure they promptly dispose applications for medical aid or grant. Healthcare facilities should be provided to Sabar community members at their doorsteps, he said.
Shukla further said that Rs 10,000 may be given to beneficiaries as medical aid on the basis of medical prescription and caste certificate.
