Early Trends: Saryu Roy Leads in Jamshedpur West, Purnima Sahu Ahead in Jamshedpur East

Jamshedpur:The initial trends from the counting of votes in all six assembly constituencies of Jamshedpur have been released.

In Jamshedpur West, JD(U)-NDA candidate Saryu Roy is leading by 3,336 votes. He has secured 6,346 votes so far, while Congress candidate and state minister Banna Gupta has received 3,010 votes. Shambhu Chaudhary is currently in third position.

In Jamshedpur East, BJP’s Purnima Sahu is leading. She has received 7,590 votes, giving her a lead of 5,142 votes over Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar, who has secured 2,448 votes.

In Baharagora, JMM candidate Sameer Mohanty is ahead by 5,644 votes after two rounds of counting. He has garnered 12,205 votes, while BJP’s  Goswami has received 6,561 votes.

In Ghatsila, JMM’s Ramdas Soren is leading with 5,279 votes, holding a margin of 2,051 votes over BJP’s Babulal Soren, who has received 3,228 votes.

In Potka, BJP’s Meera Munda has secured a significant lead with 16,910 votes, while JMM’s Sanjeev Sardar has managed 3,887 votes, trailing by 13,023 votes.

In Jugsalai, Binod Swansi of Jairam Mahto’s JLKM party is leading by 1,767 votes, having received 6,272 votes. JMM’s sitting MLA Mangal Kalindi is in second place with 4,505 votes, while AJSU’s Ramachandra Sahis is in third with 2,507 votes.

These trends indicate mixed results for major political parties, with BJP and JMM candidates leading in key constituencies.
