Jamshedpur, June 7: Following the instructions of East Singhbhum Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) B Maheshwari, a team of district rural development authority (DRDA) visited Potka on Friday to review the progress of various development projects.
During the visit, members of team DRDA physically inspected the site of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. The members sought updates on the progress of the projects and directed officials concerned to expedite work by removing the roadblocks as soon as possible.
The team members included Vipin Kumar, Akhilesh Kumar, Suman Mishra, Jitesh Kumar Singh and Leeladhar Mahato. They first visited Amlatola village under Hensal Amda panchayat and inspected PMAY work. They found out that despite release of fund, many PMAY houses had not been built.
