Seraikela: District level Yoga Camp on June 21

Saraikela, June 7: A district level Yoga camp will be organized on June 21 at Birsa Munda Stadium on the occasion of World Yoga Day.  Yoga camps will also be organized at all Block and Panchayat levels in the district.

Saraikela Kharsawan Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan during a meeting held today with all district officials including BDOs, COs and representatives of educational institutions, gave out necessary directives to ensure maximum participation of general people. He asked them to carry out extensive publicity for the event.

An appeal has been made to the general citizens, people�s representatives, SHGs, police and CRPF forces to participate in the Yoga Camp to be organized on June 21. Polytechnic College, Arka Jain University, NIT, all ITI units, colleges, Skill Development Training Centres have been asked to send their students, teachers and staff to the Yoga Camp. Bank employees and District Sports Academy personnel will participate in the camp to be organized on the occasion of World Yoga Day.

According to the schedule, a Run for Yoga will be organized on June 15 from Nripraj High School to Birsa Munda Stadium. Yoga practice will be conducted on June 17, 18 and 19. A district level Yoga workshop will be conducted under supervision of Yog Guru from Patanjali Yog Peeth on June 20.

A team has been formed for successful conduct of the Yoga camp on June 21. DDC Suresh Kumar Dudani and Civil Surgeon AN Dey have been given charge of organizing and conducting the camp.
