Ghatshila: ‘Echoes of Life,’ a collection of 101 English poems written by Dr. Prasenjit Karmakar, Manager of Sant Nandlal Smriti Vidya Mandir School and Senior NCC Officer, was officially released on Thursday at Bibhuti Sanskriti Sansad Bhavan on Ghatshila College Road.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Karmakar shared that his book explored the depths of human existence, capturing unspoken emotions, silent struggles, and fleeting joys that defined our journey. Each poem in the collection served as an echo of shared human experiences, reminding readers that even in solitude, one was never truly alone. The book vividly portrays life’s raw moments, from the laughter of a child in a forgotten alley to the quiet sigh of an elder reminiscing about the past, from the enduring power of love to the weight of unfulfilled dreams.

Published by Crown Publishers, the 230-page book is available on Flipkart and other international platforms. Several distinguished personalities from the field of art and culture attended the event and congratulated Dr. Karmakar on this literary achievement.
