Jadugoda, March 18: Former parliamentarian Dr Ajoy Kumar on the urging by District Congress ST Cell president Ranjit Ram, met Shyam Thakur and his family whose house had been ravaged by a fire of February 24 last and had been forced to live under the open sky due to financial constraints. Dr Ajoy Kumar talked to the family members and provided financial assistance. He also held a telephonic talk with Jadugoda CO Md Imteyaz and instructed him to provide government assistance.
