Saraikela, March 18: After decades, the Odiya theatre stage will throb back to life with a two day Odiya theatre festival organized by Utkal Yuva Ekta Manch at Indratandi in Saraikela. The two day festival commencing on Friday, March 19 will see the staging of ‘Ei Mandiro Sakhi Sinduro Sakhi’ directed by actor-director Rajat Kumar Pattanaik. On the second day, Saturday, March 20, the play, ‘Bandhichhi Shakha Sinduro’ will be performed which has been directed by actor-director Nilkanth Sarangi. Raja Acharya and Rajesh Kar will render the songs. On the conclusion of the final day’s theatrical presentation, local veteran actors will be honoured.
