Baharagora: A team of district administration led by Deputy Development Commissioner B Maheshwari visited two panchayats of Baharagora, Baragadiya and Muturkham, with the view to take stock of the ongoing development projects and assess their current pace.
After the visit, the DDC expressed satisfaction over the quality and pace of work under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. He said there was need to speed up work under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana and ODF project. He said the people should be asked to use toilets on a regular basis. A public awareness campaign is being launched in this regard, he said.
The BDO of Baharagora, Lalit Prasad Singh, submitted a brief report on the various development projects being executed in the block. Later, a meeting was held to review the development projects.
