JNAC collects Rs 15,000 trade tax from Disneyland fair organizers

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) officials collected Rs 15,000 as trade tax from Disneyland fair organizers on Tuesday. The fair is being held at Aam Bagan, Sakchi.

Sources said the City Manager of JNAC Ranjan Pandey had issued a notice to the fair organizers seeking trade tax from them. There are five joy rides at the fair. For each ride, a tax of Rs 2500 has to be paid. The organizers had paid the rent for using Aam Bagan ground, but failed to pay the trade tax, sources said.

The Special Officer of JNAC Sanjay Kumar had directed Ranjan Pandey to issue a notice to the fair organizers. The trade tax has been reportedly paid, sources said.
