Jamshedpur, July 11: The state government has revoked the dismissal order of Dr. Arvind Kumar Lal, the former Civil Surgeon of Jamshedpur, in compliance with the directive of the Jharkhand High Court.
The decision follows the High Court’s order dated April 3, 2024, in case number WPS 1855/2022, which called for the cancellation of Dr. Lal’s termination. Along with this, the government has approved the implementation of the Unified Pension Scheme under the National Pension System.
Additionally, in compliance with a separate High Court case (WPS 4742/2022, Menka Mahanti vs State of Jharkhand), the state approved ACP/MACP benefits for the late Bhagat Charan Mahanti, a former employee, recognizing his entitled service increments.
