Saraikela, Aug 20: A meeting to discuss procedures of birth and death registration was held at the Block Office auditorium. Dhananjay Kumar chaired the meeting. The procedures of registering birth and deaths at all panchayat levels along with updates were discussed. G Sagar gave detailed solutions to the problems being faced in the realms of online registration and the process for ensuring cent percent records in the matter. It was informed in the meeting that all births and deaths were being registered at the 14 panchayats under the supervision of panchayat secretaries concerned. The BDO instructed all panchayat secretaries to collect data from Anganwadi Sevikas and compile the records in the registers within a time frame of 21 days. He said that no person should face any difficulty in the matter opf registration of births and deaths. All PHCs, CHCs and HSCs were also directed to follow the instructions. District Statistical Officer Brajkishor Prasad, Child development Project Officer Madhulika Sinha, BEEO Dilip Kumar, Block Panchayatiraj Officer and Block Statistical Observer Vimla Tirkey and others were present in the meeting.
