Jamshedpur, Nov 15: Surya Mandir Committee patron Chandragupt Singh led his team of committee members in celebrating Dipawali at the temple. Lord Ram was worshipped on the occasion. Independent East Jamshedpur constituency legislator who was present on the occasion stated, “Dipawali is the festival that ignites energy in every individual and makes a person stand up fearlessly against all wrongs by vanquishing evil and establishing truth. Dipawali signifies the triumph of good over evil, truth over falsehood, justice against injustice. The kingdom of Ayodhya saw people celebrating the return of Lord Ram from 14 months of exile in the forest. They decorated their hearths and homes with earthen lamps. The brightness is a traditional glow that is celebrated as Dipawali or Deepotsav. I wish all citizens a very happy and prosperous Dipawali and Kali Puja.”
Patron Chandragupt Singh said that Surya Mandir has remained the centre for all religious activities for the citizens of Jamshedpur and nearby areas.
