DIET Chakulia hosts National Seminar on Indian Knowledge & AI

Chakulia: A two-day national seminar was successfully organized at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Chakulia, with participation from 65 educators representing various states across India.
The seminar focused on the Indian Knowledge system, its integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI), and its relevance to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in the era of technological advancement. Participants presented research papers exploring these themes in detail.
The event began with registration and distribution of seminar kits, followed by a formal inauguration. Victor Vijay Samad delivered the welcome address, while Principal-in-Charge Ramnath Singh introduced the theme of the seminar. Distinguished guests Tripura Jha and Sandhya Sinha shared insights on the role of AI, emphasizing that technology should remain under human control. Chief Guest Lakshmi Ram Gope highlighted the importance of incorporating Indian Knowledge systems into AI frameworks. A seminar souvenir was also released, followed by technical and paper presentation sessions.
On the second day, the programme resumed with another inaugural session. Chief Guest Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Professor at NIT Jamshedpur, spoke on linking Indian Knowledge Tradition with philosophical perspectives. Around 40 participants presented their papers.
The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Priyanka Jha, distribution of certificates, participant feedback, and the National Anthem. Faculty members and the organizing committee played a key role in ensuring the success of the event.
