Jamshedpur, June 6: As part of its effort to provide better health care facilities, Tata Steel has decided to come up with a Diabetic Centre at Tata Main Hospital (TMH) to meet the challenges posed by rising cases in the State. The centre is expected to start functioning from September this year. While addressing the members of SCCI, Chanakya Chaudhary, vice president, corporate services, Tata Steel, said, “Tata Steel has enhanced its medical services in the city in the last five years. Continuing with this the company has started the process for Diabetic Centre. It will not only play a role to manage the disease but also to control it. The hospital has set up a dedicated team to work for the Diabetic Centre.”
