Jamshedpur: In a bid to prevent shifting of Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Limited from Jamshedpur to Kharagpur, the Jamshedpur block Up Pramukh (deputy head) Afzal Akhtar and hundreds of others would be staging a peaceful dharna at the company gate on 23rd January. The agitators have sought the support of Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, all MLAs and panchayat representatives in making the agitation successful. Akhtar said a written information regarding the sit-in programme has been given to the SDO of Dhalbhumgarh and the officer in-charge of Telco police station.
