Jamshedpur: As part of the 71st Dharma Saastha Preethi Celebrations, the pujas today started with installation of 16 kalash, one each for the presiding deities of the temple. After performing Havan with Moola Mantra jap for all the deities,Abhishek was performed with the installed kalash.
This was followed by Uttara puja and later on Maha deeparadhana was performed. At the conclusion of the pujas and Havan, prasad was distributed to the devotees present by the managing committee members of the temple.
In the evening, Bhagavati Seva was performed wherein three sacred lamps we’re installed, one for Lord Ganesh, one for Ma Saraswati and the main lamp in the center for Ma Durga. After performing Sahasranama archana, 5th chapter of Durga Sapta Sathi was chanted, followed by Sri Suktam and Mahisasura mardhini sloka by the visiting Ved pandits.
Entire pujas and Havan were conducted under the guidance of Brahmashri Vijay Bhanu who is a renowned Ved Pandit of Tamil Nadu. Shri P N Sankaran, Working President of the Temple undertook the pujas as prescribed by the Vedas and guided by the visiting Ved pandits.
