High-mast lamp, pond renovation project inaugurated in Potka

Jamshedpur: Potka MLA Menka Sardar laid the foundation stone of a pond renovation project in Asanbani, Potka, on Friday. She also inaugurated a high-mast lamp in Asanbani.

The lamp was installed at an expense of Rs 5.45 lakh. The pond renovation would take place at an expense of Rs 5 lakh approximately, she said.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA said the government of Jharkhand was committed to the overall development of the state and its people. All government projects are being implemented in the state with this goal in mind, she said.

Sardar said the government had put rural development top on its list of priorities. The government is also helping the farmers through its Krishi Ashirwad Yojana. It has also started Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana to promote all daughters. Both schemes are highly beneficial for the people, she said.
