Dhanbad, Mar 29: One-day Khelo India Women’s Judo City League will be held here at DAV Public School Koylanagar tomorrow.
In the league championship being organized by Sports Authority of India, ministry of sports, school students of Dhanbad, Bokaro and Palamu will participate.
Giving this information Pappu Singh said that this prestigious national league championship is being organized simultaneously in 25 cities of the country. Dhanbad has been also selected as one of the venues.
The inaugural function of the championship would be all women’s affair . Dr Sharmila Rani, principal SSLNT Women’s College would be chief guest while police Inspector Nutan Modi, Karuna Srivastava, Dhanbad Public School ( Hirak Road branch) principal Purnima Shil, Jiven Jyoti School for Special Children principal Aparna Das would be guests of honour.
Pappu Singh said that besides Bokaro and Palamu schools, girls of Dhanbad’s rajkamal Saraswati Vidya Mandir, DAV Public School Koylanagar, Dhanbad Public School, Saraswati Vidya MandirSinidih Katras, Dhanbad martial Arts Centre, Saraswati Vidya Mandir Bhuli, Adani Fitnesh Centre Sindri, DAV Barora and other institutions’ girls would participate..
