Jamshedpur: The devotees of Lord Shyam will celebrate the New Year 2018 with great pomp and fanfare at Bhatli Dham on 31st December. They will be leaving for their destination on the same day from Tatanagar railway station.
Members of Sri Shyam Bhatli Parivar Charitable Trust, Tatanagar, said around 300 devotees would be leaving for Bhatli Dham. So far 170 devotees have got themselves registered for the tour. Renowned bhajan singer Pundit Puneet Krishna from Varanasi and Sarita Ojha from Mumbai would be performing at Bhatli Dham along with Mahavir Agrawal, Harjeet Singh Heera, Neeraj Jalan and Anis Galodia from Jamshedpur.
According to Rajesh Pasari, president of the outfit, the devotees would leave in the Ispat Express via Bargarh station. The devotees from Tatanagar, Chandil, Mosabani, Dhalbhumgarh, Sini, Kolkata, Rourkela and Seraikela will be leaving for Bhatli Dham, he said.
Pasari went on to inform that the devotees would cut a cake and also burn firecrackers to welcome the new year. He said the devotees willing to attend the tour may get their tickets booked for the journey.
