Seraikela, Oct 24: State food and civil supplies minister cum MLA of Jamshedpur West Saryu Roy Thursday said a host of development and public welfare projects were implemented in Jharkhand during the last five years of BJP regime. He said the BJP would continue its development projects in case it retains power at Ranchi in the upcoming state Assembly elections. He said the benefits of various government schemes were being directly transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiaries.
Roy was speaking during a seminar for beneficiaries of various government schemes organized at Town Hall, Seraikela. Despite rains, a good number of beneficiaries were present during the programme.
Among others present during the inaugural ceremony included district BJP Uday Pratap Singhdeo, general secretary Ganesh Mahali, Shailendra Singh, Meenakshi Patnayak, Manoj Choudhary, Anant Ram Tudu and Ramesh Hansda.
