Ranchi: The state government has assured that the work on various projects falling in government or company areas will be started within 15 days through the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhu.
Replying to a question raised by the Congress MLA Banna Gupta, the Parliamentary affairs minister of the Assembly Rajendra Prasad Singh told the house that public welfare and development projects could not be delayed due
to delay in issuance of no objection certificates caused by the private companies.
He said the state government will ensure that the work on such projects starts within 15 days.
Earlier, the MLA said that fund had been allotted for the proposed construction of a crematorium at Fagu Baba Shamshan Ghat, but the NOC had not yet been received by the district administration.
The Opposition members raised shame shame slogan at this statement of Banna Gupta. The MLA of Jamshedpur East Raghuvar Das said the government should start work on development projects without the NOC.
