Ranchi: The deputy commissioner of Deoghar today issued an order to organize panchayat level development cum health camp.
He said the camp will be held in each and every panchayat of every block of the district on Wednesdays. The purpose of the camp is to reach out to the poor rural families residing in far-off parts of the district.
The chief objective of the camp is to provide health facilities to the families belonging to the Below Poverty Line category. The DC said the health department officials should make sure that the poor families are attended on a priority basis.
He said the men and women visiting the camp should also be encouraged to undergo registration for vasectomy and tubectomy surgery for family planning. He said the district administration was going to implement many family and social welfare projects as envisaged by the state government.
The DC said the villagers will be also informed about various government schemes so that they may avail the same for their welfare and awareness.
