DEO visits DAV Bistupur, felicitates students for volunteering in blood donation camp

Jamshedpur, June 26: Nirmala Kumari Barelia, the District Education Officer of East Singhbhum, paid a visit to DAV Public School in Bistupur, Jamshedpur, today. The purpose of her visit was to conduct an inspection of the students’ security measures and assess the availability of basic facilities.

During her visit, the DEO honored the young and enthusiastic students who had volunteered for the Blood Donation Camp held on April 19, 2023, which coincided with the school’s ‘Inception Day’. She presented certificates to the students, acknowledging their participation in the noble cause. The students were thrilled and privileged to receive her blessings. The DEO commended not only the children but also praised their parents for being responsible citizens and actively supporting this social initiative. She encouraged the students to maintain a healthy diet, focus on their studies with passion, and continue engaging in such impactful endeavors. Pragya Singh, the Principal of DAV Public School, expressed her gratitude to the District Education Office for taking the time to visit the school.
