Demand for platelets on the rise in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Sept 7: Jamshedpur and nearby areas are grappling with the rising cases of Dengue infection thereby seeing the climbing graph of platelets demand. In response to this vital requisition, Anand Marg Universal Relief Team Global (AMURTG) organized a camp at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank at short notice and within two hours, three units of Single Donor Platelets (SDP) and 10 units of blood were collected. It may be mentioned that among the three SDP donors, Vinay Krishna, Anand Marg member and nephew of the organization’s programme organizer and social activist Sunil Anand, donated SDP for the 13th time. District IRCS Secretary Vijay Singh, Arijit Sarkar of Pratik Sangharsh Foundation, Sardar Ranjeet Singh, and Sunil Anand honored Vinay with a certificate of appreciation.
