Jamshedpur, October 10: In Jamshedpur, a protest has started against the administrative consent regarding exemption from charging parking fees outside the pandals during the Durga festival event.
BJP leader Ankit Anand has expressed strong objection to the decision of charging parking fee, calling it irrelevant.
The BJP leader raised the issue and also raised questions on the mysterious silence of the district level Durga Puja coordination committees.
He said that implementation of parking fee will lead to cases of conflict between puja committees and visitors at various places. This will increase unnecessary disputes.
He said that till now there has been a tradition of a free parking system in the city during Durga festival.
