Jamshedpur SSP directs PCR to be alert during Durga puja

Jamshedpur, October 10: East Singhbhum SSP Kishore Kaushal gave several orders in the briefing to PCR and Tiger Mobile personnel on Tuesday regarding Durga Puja.

He asked the PCR at one place during the festive season but kept patrolling the area. Apart from this, he advised to take special care during the puja. He said that on the occasion of Durga Puja, crowded areas, especially markets, banks and jewelry shops, are the target of criminals. In such a situation, bike patrolling along with PCR will have to be ready.

He told the PCR staff  that many complaints are being received every day about the personnel sleeping in the PCR itself. He warned that if PCR personnel live anywhere then they should get down from the PCR and sit and not remain sitting in the PCR.

He said that earlier all the PCR and Tiger Mobile personnel used to have a government mobile which will be reactivated. PCR and Tiger Mobile personnel patrol small areas, hence many people are familiar with them. People contact them only.
