Jamshedpur, March 12: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur EAST on Monday celebrated International Women’s Day at Women’s College in Tinplate.
Addressing the college students, club member Rama Khanna, said, women of today are present in every field and are not behind men. Women empowerment needs to be addressed properly then only all the women in India can live with freedom.
On the occasion a debate competition was organised among the students where the topic was ‘Role of women in the society’. The winners were awarded prizes. A cultural programme was also staged by the children. Present on the occasion were club president Namrata Jha, Sampa Upadhya, Nilima Prakash, Archana, Vinita Jha, Rama Khanna, Sonali Mohanty and others.
