Folk dance and other events pull huge crowd at Swadesi Mela

Jamshedpur: The fourth day of Swadeshi Mela was inaugurated by renowned International boxer Aruna Mishra. A cultural programme was organized for the visitors and guests.
In her address, Aruna said the Swadeshi Mela gave a homely feeling to one and all. She called the fair as a symbol of cultural coordination among various communities and people.

The gathering was also addressed by Tata Workers Union treasurer Prabhas and Geeta Tiwary.
Earlier, a seminar was organized by Sahkar Bharati during which people were given tips on preparing various domestic use items including papad, disinfectants, soaps and detergent powders. A Shankh (conch) blowing competition was also held for women.

Besides, a team of folk dancers led by Avnish Pandey gave an enchanting performance in the evening. A large number of people visited the venue today.
