DC reviews progress of PMAY and ODF projects

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum deputy commissioner (DC) Amit Kumar reviewed the progress of various development and welfare projects at a meeting here on Monday. He sought updates on the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) work in the district and sought explanation for the delay in achieving the goals. The officials concerned said the delay was caused by inadequate supply of construction material.
The DC asked all block officials to achieve their goals within two days. He also asked them to submit photographs of toilets constructed in all panchayats. He directed them to complete their work through a door-to-door campaign.
