Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district administration Amit Kumar on Tuesday directed the officials concerned of various government departments to ensure speedy completion of pending construction works.
In a review meeting held today, Kumar said the work of construction of 40 buildings in Ghatsila should be started within a week. He was told that the construction was stopped after completion of 90 per cent of the work. He said the contractor concerned should be blacklisted in case he does not resume work shortly.
He further said the work of the sub-divisional residential campus in Ghatsila and the Collectorate building in Jamshedpur should be completed as soon as possible.
The DC said the road from Ghatsila Stadium to Ghatsila Jail should be constructed soon. He also ordered construction of a stadium in Karandih. He said the issues related to the implementation of the Chhota Govindpur water supply project should be resolved soon. He said the pending road projects should also be completed without delay.
