Seraikela, Oct 4: With an aim to pace-up the ongoing verification-and-rectification drive to correct inaccurate electoral roll, the district administration on Friday convened a meeting of electoral roll officers, (EROs) booth level officials (BLO’s) at Seraikela Nagar Palika Town Hall.
The meeting chaired by the deputy commissioner (DC) KN Jha and attended by other senior officials of the district administration including SDO CK Singh witnessed open discussion between the authorities and field officials on ways to push-up the momentum of the drive.
Jha said that till date 40% of the review work has been done but 80% is need of the hour and the asked officials present to pace up the work without any delay.
