Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan deputy commissioner A Dodde and superintendent of police Karthik S visited Taramba, a village affected by Pathalgarhi, under Rolahatu panchayat in Kuchai on Wednesday. They interacted with voters at polling booth number 6 situated at Upgraded Middle School, Taramba, and appealed to them to cast their vote in the upcoming Assembly elections without fail. They informed the villagers about their right to vote and its importance. They asked the Gram Pradhan and other panchayat officials to spread awareness among voters in local language.
A demonstration of electronic voting machines and VVPAT was given to voters on this occasion. The DC said water would be supplied to all households in Taramba through a solar-powered water tower funded by the 14th Finance Commission. He said public participation was must for development of the village.
