Jamshedpur: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the women’s faculty of DBMS College of Education organized an awareness program for the parents of students at Utkramit Middle School, Bhatia Basti.
The event aimed to highlight the significance of Women’s Day, promote gender equality, and empower girls to shape their future.

Students of the third semester from DBMS College of Education contributed to the success of the program through short plays and poetry recitations. The event commenced with a speech by Prabha Kiran, followed by a thought-provoking play that conveyed the message of gender equality to the students and their mothers. The play featured remarkable performances by Nitish, Priyanka, Anisha, Madhuri, Vineeta, Miraj, and Vishal.
Additionally, Priyanka, Nitish, and Anisha inspired the audience by reciting their self-composed poems, uplifting the morale of the women present.
The event was attended by the Principal of school Anupama Gautam, along with faculty members Rekha Rani, Lakshmi Rai, Pratima Dutt, Renu Singh, and Ankita Mahato.
Representing DBMS College, Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Assistant Professor Pamela Ghosh Dutta, Dr. Surina Bhullar Singh, and Anjali Ganeshan were also present.
