DBMS and Loyola students shine at ASISC inter school quiz at LFS

Convent School adjudged runner-up in contest hosted by LFS

Jamshedpur, Aug 13: DBMS School in the senior and Loyola School in junior category were declared the winners of the ASISC inter school zonal quiz competition hosted by Little Flower School (LFS), Telco on Friday.

In the senior category-Shlok and Saptashwa Dasgupta representing DBMS School were crowned the champions followed by Pratyasha Adarsh and Manusmriti Mishra of Sacred Heart Convent School and Ayansh Aadyant & Shreyan Das of Gulmohar High School.

Aryan Mishra and Archisman Ghoshal of Loyola School won the junior event. DBMS English School comprising Utkarsh Kumar and Yuvraj Sethi were declared the first runner-up while Shambhavi Tewari and Ayushi Sharma of Sacred Heart Convent School bagged second runners-up position.

Around 28 schools participated in the Junior category and 19 in senior category.

Earlier, a written round was followed by five rounds of hard quizzing.  The six teams on stage battled it out to a thrilling finish.

The quizmaster was Palak Kumar, an entrepreneur and the co-founder of Learnaut, an organization working towards building 21st century skills for 21st century learners by partnering with schools across India to co-create a better tomorrow.
