Jamshedpur, Nov 23: DAV Public School, NIT won the Inter School Sub Cluster Cricket Tournament
( under 19 Boys) 2013, by 10 runs defeating DAV Public School, Bistupur at the National Institute of Technology ground here today at Adityapur.
The Man of the Match, Sanjay Nandi of the winnig team played a scintillating innings of 38 runs and paved the way for the team’s victory. He also bagged 3 wickets sparing only 8 runs to the opponent batsmen. Arun and Indranil added 27 and 20 runs respectively to the team.
Indranil was declared the Man of the series of the tournament. The match was conducted by the Jharkhand Cricket Association umpires and the observer of the match was Amit Kumar and Tridev Biswas, DAV Public School, NIT.
Earlier, DAV Public School, Bistupur, defeated DAV Public School, Baharagora, in the
Tayo Colony ground that was played yesterday. With today’s victory, DAV Public School, NIT, qualified for
the Zonal Cricket Tournament of the DAV National Sports Championship.
