Jamshedpur: DAV Public School, Bistupur, Jamshedpur launched a two-day Capacity Building Programme (Phase-2) for in-service teachers of Jharkhand Zone E on 6–7 December 2025. The programme, part of the mandatory five-day DAV CAE Training, covers teachers from Nursery to Class XII across all major subjects.
A total of 356 teachers from seven DAV schools—Khalari, Mahuda, CFRI Dhanbad, TATA DAV Sijua, TATA DAV Jamadoba and DAV Barora—are participating. The training is being conducted by peer educators serving as Master Trainers, previously trained at DAV CAE, with the objective of enhancing pedagogy, subject expertise and classroom innovation.

The event began with DAV Gaan and lamp lighting, followed by an address from ARO-cum-Principal and Training Coordinator Pragya Singh. She emphasised the role of teachers in shaping responsible citizens and fostering unity in classrooms, quoting Swami Vivekananda’s message: “Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is reached.”

Throughout the day, subject-wise sessions focused on experiential learning, concept clarity and critical thinking. Teachers explored writing strategies in English, competency-based methods in Mathematics and Science, interactive techniques in Hindi and Social Sciences, coding and AI tools in Computer Science and key concepts in Commerce.
Breakout sessions encouraged hands-on learning and activity-based teaching. The programme aims to equip educators with effective methodologies applicable across the entire academic spectrum.
