Jamshedpur, May 21: The long wait of the CBSE Class 12 students was finally over as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results on Saturday noon.
Continuing the tradition, DAV Public School, Bistupur, dominated the proceedings and students from the school stole the show in the city and came out winners 101 students of the school score 90 % and above marks, highest in comparison to other city schools.
Toppers from all three streams pure science, bio-science and commerce were from DAV, Bistupur.
� I�m am very delighted with the results as the outcome is more or less the same as we predicted and would like to thank each and every teacher and student who has put in a lot of hard work,� said, Pragya Singh principal of DAV, Bistupur.
She further said, �We should continue to strive for better results and put up more improved performance the next year.�
Chanu Agarwal of commerce stream, who scored 94.6 %, said, �I always paid attention in class and clarified my doubts from teachers. Teachers are helpful and supportive. I am feeling on top of the world.�
Another DAV student, Rashmi who scored 96.6 % in bio-science, gave all the credits for his success to his parents and teachers who helped her a lot. �I want to thank my parents and teachers who at any point of time helped me out and were very supportive�, said Rashmi, a resident of Adityapur.
Siddhartha Shankar Kahali and Y Komal were the joint school toppers in pure science stream, scoring 96.4 % marks followed by Stuti Ananta with 96.2 % marks. In bio-science, Animesh Sarkar was the topper with 97.2 %, followed by Rashmi with 96.6 % and Anu Aditi with 95.2 % marks.
In commerce stream, Rishika Agarwal was the topper with 95.4 % marks, at the second place was Chanu Agarwal 94.6 %, while Shruti Agarwal was third with 93.8 % marks.
