Jamshedpur CBSE commerce topper Rishika wants to be an IAS officer

Jamshedpur, May 21: Rishika Agarwal of DAV Public School, Bistupu,r has made her parents and the school proud by scoring 95.4 % marks in the CBSE Class 12 commerce section. Rishika, who was busy receiving phone calls since the time the result was announced, she just can’t hide her excitement after she was declared the school topper.

�I had put in lot of hard work as my Class 12 percentage would have only decided my admission to a good college and now with 95.4 % marks I would like to get admitted to a top Delhi University College,� said Rishika.

Rishika completed her Class 10 from St. Joseph School, Musabani, with 93 % marks and later got admitted to DAV Public School, Bistupur. �My father Pavan Kumar Agarwal runs a rice mill in Ghatshila and it was very tough for me to pursue Plus 2 there due to absence of good schools.

Last year, we decided to move to Jamshedpur for my Plus 2 studies,� she said. Rishika further said, �I want time to decide about my future course of action, but I don’t want to do CA as my aim is to be an IAS officer or do MBA. Now my focus is on getting to top DU College.�

Resident of Contractors Area in Bistupur, Rishika’s mother Sushma Agarwal is a housewife, while her two elder brothers are CA and mechanical engineer.
