Daughter of Jamshedpur forest officer Mumul Rajpurohit scores 173rd rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam

Jamshedpur, August 4: Mumul Rajpurohit, daughter of a forest department officer has also proved her talent in the exam by scoring 173rd rank. Originally from Jodhpur her parents stay at Circuit House in Jamshedpur. She completed her plus two education from Jodhpur. After this, she completed her graduation in political science from Indraprasth College in Delhi. Her father Jabbar Singh Rajpurohit is a senior forest officer. Mumul�s subjects in the Civil Services exam were political science and international relations. � � �

� �There was so much cooperation from all the members of the family. My father and mother were very much supportive. I qualified for the IAS �and it�s a dream-come-true for me,� said the voracious reader.�

She said that she always dreamt to crack UPSC and this was the reason she worked so hard. Today her efforts have brought fruitful results. She always wanted to serve society.

�It�s a moment of joy and celebration for the entire family. My parents always wanted me to become an officer, so I would say I have fulfilled their dreams,�  she said.
