Jamshedpur, Aug. 16: Lajpat Public School celebrated the Independence Day on 15th August to mark 71 years of Independence from the British rule.
The celebrations were held at the school campus. Member of the Punjabi Samaj, Jamshedpur and Siksha Samiti O.P. Jaggi graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The hour long program began with the hoisting of the national flag followed by national anthem, speeches, poetries and a thrilling group dance performance by the school students.
Chief Guest in his speech told the students about the importance of �brother hood� among the citizen and the role of �Swadeshi�.
School principal Ranjit Ghosh, Co- ordinator Sonudeep Choudhary, teachers and students were among others to witness the program unfold.
