Jamshedpur: The 10th Jyoti Inter-School Volleyball Tournament culminated on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the premises of D.B.M.S. Kadma High School. The competition featured 192 participants from 16 schools in Jamshedpur, competing across three categories.

In the +2 Boys category, D.B.M.S. Kadma High School emerged as champions, followed by K.P.S. Gamharia and Loyola School, Bistupur. The High School Boys category saw K.P.S. Mango securing the top spot, with K.P.S. Gamharia and K.P.S. Burmamines finishing second and third, respectively. In the Girls category, K.P.S. Mango claimed the championship, while K.P.S. Gamharia and D.B.M.S. Kadma High School took the second and third positions.

Best player awards were presented to Sonu Kumar Gupta (+2 Boys, D.B.M.S. Kadma High School), Adil (High School Boys, K.P.S. Mango) and Sidrat Naaz (Girls, K.P.S. Mango) for their exceptional performances.

The closing ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary, School Managing Committee), P.S. Aruna (Joint Treasurer), Padma Shiva (Committee Member), and senior school staff such as Principal Gurpreet Bhambra and Vice Principals Suparna Roy and S. Shireen.
The tournament provided a thrilling experience for participants and spectators, marking another successful edition of the event.
