Cyclone Asani to cause rain in several districts of Jharkhand

Jamshedpur, May 9: Cyclone Asani is all set to leave its impact on several districts of Jharkhand. As per Met department forecast, light to medium rain accompanied by thundering and lightning is expected to lash south, north-east and central parts of Jharkhand on 11^th and 12^th May.

A yellow alert has been issued in this regard for East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj, Simdega, Ranchi, Khunti, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Hazaribagh and Gumla, sources said.
