Jamshedpur, May 9: The 101st birth anniversary of Anand Marg sect founder, Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar revered as Anandmurti Ji will be celebrated on Baisakhi Purnima, May 16. Several and varied religious programmes have been lined up for the occasion. The birth anniversary of founder Anandmurti Ji will be celebrated worldwide by Anand Marg’s international fraternity. Baisakhi Purnima is celebrated as Anand Purnima. The 101st birth anniversary of the founder will include a three hour meditational event where devotees will chant Baba Naam Kevlam with performance of Akhand Kirtan. Sherbet will be provided and saplings of various plants will be presented on the occasion. Various competitive events including painting competition for students, Yogasana, Prabhat Sangit, quiz on the philosophy of Anand Marg, Kaushiki and Tandava dances. The speech of Guru Anandmurti Ji will be narrated in several languages including Sanskrit, English, Bengali, Hindi, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Chhattisgarhi and other languages. On this occasion, Prabhat Library at Anand Marg Jagriti Campus will be inaugurated. Books related to Anand Marg and Prautashdarshan will be available in the Library. Anandmurti Ji was born on May 16 on the day of Baisakhi Purnima in 1921 in Jamalpur.
